PoliLaPP offers its competences in the field of corrosion engineering of metallic materials (steel alloys, galvanized steel, copper, titanium, aluminum and more) in natural environments (water, soil, atmosphere) and industrial ones, with particular reference to the chemical and petrochemical field and to cathodic protection.
The activity includes:
- Evaluation of design documents
- Materials selection
- Performing of laboratory corrosion tests to verify the compatibility of selected materials with the working environment
- Indication of commissioning and testing specifications
- Indication of monitoring systems and corrosion control systems
